We are now on Instagram, at @prosoftwarekey. It is the first social account we have opened, and we want to be clear up front about what it is for — and what it is not for.
What we will post
- Activation fixes, short and visual. The errors people actually hit — 0xC004C008, “product key already used”, Office refusing to activate because an old copy was never removed. The same answers as our guides here, in a form you can watch in thirty seconds.
- Warnings worth knowing. When Microsoft ends support for a version, when an update breaks activation, when a price changes. The Windows 10 end-of-support date caught a lot of people out; we would rather tell you early next time.
- New products and bundles, when there is genuinely something new.
- How to check a seller before you buy — including how to check us. The method works on any shop, which is rather the point.
What it is not for
Instagram is not a support channel, and we will not pretend otherwise.
If your key will not activate, or your email has not arrived, a direct message is the slowest way to reach us. We cannot look up your order from a DM, we cannot verify a key’s status there, and we are not going to ask you to send an order number or a licence key into a social inbox.
Use these instead — both reach the person who can actually fix it:
- Open a support ticket with your order number
- Email contact@prosoftwarekey.com — answered 24 hours a day, every day
- Phone +44 7988 028825 — 08:00 to 18:00 UK time, every day
We will answer general questions on Instagram happily — which edition you need, whether your PC can run Windows 11, what a licence type means. Anything tied to a specific order belongs in a ticket, where we can see it.
YouTube and Facebook
We intend to add both. YouTube makes obvious sense for activation walkthroughs, where watching someone do it beats reading about it.
We are not going to announce dates we might miss, so there is no “launching next month” here. When an account exists and has something on it worth your time, we will say so on this page and link it from the footer. Until then, Instagram is the only social account we run — if you find another one using our name, it is not us, and we would be grateful if you told us.
Why bother at all
Discounted software keys are a corner of the internet with a real trust problem, and a shop that only ever speaks to you at the checkout does nothing to fix that. Showing our working in public — the fixes, the warnings, the awkward facts like Windows 10 losing support — is a slower way to earn trust than a banner claiming we are the best. It is also the only one that holds up.
